Objectives
1. How to participate
As a participant of this workshop (US-based or international, in-person or remote, UB or non-UB), you are eligible for the mini-project competition with the monetary prizes. We will have the following prize categories:

1st prize - 1 student $300

2nd prize - 3 students, $200 each

3rd prize - 5 students, $100 each
The process is the following:
Step 1. At workshop
Save and document your work during the workshop, initiate your projects.
Step 2. A week after
Work on your project during the week following the end of the workshop. You will still have access to UB CCR resources and software, but you may want to start using your home institution resources.
Step 3. Submit your materials via GitHub
To participate in the competition, please ensure your representative coursework and the course projects are accepted to this GitHub repository by July 18 (Saturday), 5 pm Buffalo time.
Step 4. Participate in the oral competition
The committee of instrcutors will score the written projects by July 22th and a sub-set of participants will be selected to present their works orally (via Zoom) on July 24-26 (the exact dates are to be determined). The presentations will be videorecorded and shared on the CyberTraining website (down below).
